Digital Turbine has been ranked as a Top Media Source in the 2020 Singular ROI Index, outranking 550 other tracked ad networks. The Index ranks the top-performing ad networks across both the Android and iOS ecosystems by 30-day ROI, leveraging the largest set of cost, revenue, and fraud data in the industry. The Singular ROI Index has become the go-to source for industry-wide data to equipped mobile marketers with the insights they need to drive the most revenue at the lowest cost for their app.

Where Did Digital Turbine Rank?

As an Android-specific platform, Digital Turbine ranked in the top nine ad networks, in the Global: Non-gaming Index, and in the top 15 North American: All Verticals Android Index. Other ad networks recognized in these areas include Facebook, Google Ads, Snapchat, Twitter, and TikTok, highlighting the pedigree of the competition.

“We are excited and proud to be included in Singular’s ROI Index,” said Scott Tomkins, GM of US at Digital Turbine. “Being included is a great indication of how much our Direct to Device inventory has grown and the success it is providing our clients.”

How Were Ad Networks Evaluated?

The 2020 edition of The Singular ROI Index reviews $6.3B in ad spend with 2.2B installs and combines this with advanced insights from Singular’s fraud analysis to evaluate hundreds of ad networks.

The rankings account for several factors including Spend, Fraud, Reach, CTI, ROI, and Retention. This “deep dive” analysis ensures that top-ranking ad networks aren’t hiding behind “vanity metrics” and guarantees the quality of each network’s promise to deliver high quality, high-performance traffic.

Why Does This Matter?

Featuring on the Singular ROI Index matters because it demonstrates the true value of an ad network. Any ad network can deliver traffic, but how many can deliver true value for money and the promise of a lucrative return-on-investment?

Smart app marketers typically don’t care how much they spend on ads. There is, after all, no such thing as expensive or cheap marketing. There is only marketing that works and marketing that doesn’t work. If a campaign delivers on the marketer’s objectives and their investment is returned with a healthy profit margin, that marketer has effectively done their job.

Inclusion on the Singular ROI Index also demonstrates a commitment to reducing levels of fraud which can be endemic across certain networks.
