Looking through our year over year statistics, we’ve seen numbers that you will want to take note of for your mobile advertising strategy.

Gaming App Installs Increase 100% for Holiday Season: Mobile ad spending and engagement significantly increases during holiday season, and Black Friday is one of the main proponents of that move. Additionally, from April-August 2014, we saw a 44% increase in the number of installs within the gaming industry.

Competition on Black Friday: According to VentureBeat and Fiksuuser acquisition costs run higher during the holiday season due to competition and demand. As a result, we have seen that gaming app installs have increased a whopping 90% since April of 2015. Overall, gaming continues to perform at a high level and it’s important to note how Black Friday supports that evidence.

What to Expect?: Over the past year, gaming app install numbers have increased at a consistent level. As more advertisers turn to mobile, that number will continue to trend upward as we head into the 2015 holiday season.
